I'm mostly trying to figure out the twist rate of the barrel without having to take it apart. It began in 1954 at 1001. Production of the 41 began in 1957 at # 1401. The 5 1/2" barrel wasn't introduced until 1963, so if the barrel is original to the frame, it wasn't made before then.
