I had my Micro 9 CTLG out 3-4 times, it has about 300-400 rounds through it now and so far it has run flawlessly. Welcome Brent! I'm new to both as well. My first Kimber (Micro 9 Raptor) is on lay away for another week, so I can't speak from experience yet. I carry Federal HST 124 hp + p in my S&W M&P 2.0 compact - wow what a round! May be a little too much in the M9 (for quick follow ups). Probably go with non +p HST or Winchester Defend at least initially.If not, try disassembling a mag (remove follower and spring), remove the slide, then insert the mag and look down inside the magazine with a flashlight to see how far the release catches are protruding through the catch notch holes in the magazine.
