I have no intention of carrying it with the hammer down so it not having a firing pin block does not really concern me. The big difference in your SP-01 and the Shadow 2 is the firing pin block. I have read Cajun Gun Works state that removing the fpb only takes away a very small amount of takeup, but not having it does improve the trigger pull, if slightly.
