Would not choose heme/onc if lifestyle is the main focus.-> Hard to disconnect/emotional part/hard to take consecutive time off/etc. That said, you can make it "more" lifestyle if you make concessions. Academic heme/onc's work way less than the community, easier to take off. (pay is much lower). Most jobs outside of popular states are 4 days ...But it can be very useful if you go into it with the right attitude.
