Tavern Brawler Monk. Been looking at guides to find out the best way to play this build and a lot of the guides I've seen is to go one of two routes. Either A) Go full str with a dip in fighter to get heavy armor proficiency using dex gloves or B) Go full str and ignore dex going 9 monk/ 3 thief using a certain armor that gives 20 ac that needs .... Dump your Str down to 8, put most of your points into Wis, then Dex and Con. With Tavern Brawler, you'll get double str to hit/damage. Unsure if the fix will add damage or make it not work at all. As for Monk. The unarmed stuff doesn't work with animal forms (no flurry of blows or bonus unarmed attacks).Do all quests in the crash site and druid enclave to reach level 3. Make Karlach a berserker. Buy the ring of flinging from the druid trader. Do all quests in the druid enclave, the blighted village, and the burning mansion just to the north, to reach level 4. Take the tavern brawler feat.
